[Blaine chuckles softly] Only a little corny.

We both seem to be in better places, right? Maybe we can see each other again? I miss hanging out with you.

Yes. God yes. Not being able to see you has been torture, it really has. You're like, one of my best friends here. I think we're both in really better places now. Not perfect, but a lot better then before.

Yeah. We just have to look out for each other this time, instead of letting the other one get away with stuff.

I'm sorry about that, by the way. I'm sorry I enabled you.

Are you kidding? I'm sorry I enabled you! It's not like you were the one who put drugs in my hands. I'm the one that did that to you. I'm sorry. I really am sorry.

I forgive you. In the end, you and Cass helped inspire me to stop and to stop blaming myself for everything [Though that second one is still a battle.] I just... I just want you to know that.

If anything ever happened to you, I'd want to make sure you knew that...

Oh, Blaine. You're going to make me blush like a school girl. [He cracks the joke after a moment, but it's obvious his heart isn't quite there. He's just embarrassed. Happy, but...]

Thank you. But nothing's going to happen to me! I can handle a couple of monsters.

I know... but I never would have thought anything could happen to her either...

Well, don't worry. If anything, I've found that I live for a really long time. Longer then anyone else, anyway.

...Most of the people I know, die. Family, friends... people I was dating... it's just something that happens.

[after a moment] I'm so sorry, Tim. You shouldn't have to go through that.

It's okay. [pauses.] I mean... it's not okay, obviously. But it just is what it is, you know? I try not to let it get me down.

Is there anything I can do?

...Don't die?

I'm working on that...

Then that's all I can ask.

I expect the same out of you, my friend. [Blaine teases, just a bit, trying to make light of a painful topic]

Well, don't worry too much about me. I've had a good track record so far, coming back from the dead. [Laughs.]

Well, I'm one-of-one. It's a 100% track record. [Sounds less like "joking" and more a little tired, very slightly bitter.]

Don't worry too much about it. Seriously, if you do, you'll go nuts.

I know.

[He's quiet for a moment] Thank you. I really needed to talk to you right now. I'm so glad you answered your phone.

I'll always answer my phone. I promise. It doesn't matter what I'm doing, if you call, I will always pick up.

I'll do the same for you.
