It was and I didn't. Well, not really. It all felt like it was some strange nightmare and the more time that passed the more it the memories faded. Coming back made all those memories come back too.

Try to settle back in, I guess. [He sounds a little tired though, and there's a bit of a sigh in his voice.]

That's right. Rachel and Santana. They're from a timeline before me though, so they don't know that I've transferred to their school. Rachel is a really good friend of mine. Santana is... well, Santana.

...I'm sorry, I don't know any Santanas. Though if she's that interesting that her name should be enough to describe her, I kind of wish I knew her.

She's strong, beautiful and always speaks her mind. Sometimes she can cross the line, but you know she's not lying to you.

Sometimes... sometimes the truth hurts. It hurts a lot more then anything else, from what I've found. I'll have to say hi if I ever see her.

[Pauses.] ...Remember when those... never mind. Forget about it.

Those pills. I remember you were taking some. But somehow you got clean?

[And that makes Blaine freeze up. He's silent, because he doesn't trust himself to say anything right away.]

It was Kurt. He made he get clean.

But it's not easy. I still think of them, especially because I've been so tired lately. I just want to sleep the way that they made me sleep.

...You're really lucky to have him around. Maybe you can try taking something to help you sleep? Or something natural to sleep, like extra melatonin.

I've been thinking I need to, but then I also think the problem isn't sleeping so much as staying awake. I'll sleep for hours and hours and it never feels like enough...

You took the pills too, didn't you?

[He's silent for a long time; it's actually hard to tell if he's still on the line, and when he comes back on, he's quiet.]

Yeah. I... I'm still taking the pills, sometimes.

...No. It's not that I don't want to be clean. I want to be, and I should. [Pauses.]

I just. I like being happy. Is that so bad?

I think it might be important to find something else that makes you happy.

I just... it's kind of a difficult situation, right now. But I'm making sure to check myself, and if anything happens, I'll go straight to the hospital.
